Updated at 2pm

Westario Power officials say crews have restored power to the majority of customers in the Towns of Port Elgin and Southampton.

But 15 customers, including the Dr. Earl Medical Clinic, along Goderich St. between Biener Dr. and River St. in Port Elgin will be without power for an extended period of time as crews continue restoration efforts.

Currently, the estimated time of restoration is approximately 10pm.

A further update will be provided around 6pm.

Scattered power outages around Port Elgin, Kincardine, Owen Sound and Wiarton overnight were all due to weather.

In Port Elgin, a hydro pole went down at Goderich and River St.

A number of Westario customers in the Port Elgin area were also affected.

Hydro One's outage map is still showing some clusters of outages with restoration times ranging from early Friday morning to later Friday morning.
