Sip And Support auction planned in Owen Sound

Safe N Sound will host the first annual Sip and Support live auction fundraiser on September 28.

Participants can sip on Starbucks coffee or tea, enjoy delicious baked goods, and bid on a variety of incredible items to help Safe N Sound provide essential services and support to those in need.

The event takes place from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Harmony Centre Hall located at 890 4th Ave East in Owen Sound.

Tickets are free, but people can spend money on a wide variety of auction items. People can bid on things like orginal paintings, a team signed Raptors jersey, a Handcrafted Quilt by Bluewater Quilters Guild, $500 in Painting and Drywall Services from Rob Hassard, yard work gift certificates, housework services, Muskoka chairs, and event tickets.

Safe N Sound offers people at risk of homelessness or who are currently homeless access to basic needs as well as support, advocacy, and referral within a space that promotes comfort and dignity.
