Brightshores Health System is seeking new members to join the Board of Directors.
There are board members needed to help Brightshores go forward with its 2026-31 strategic plan, called Stronger Together. A statement from Brightshores says that the organization is looking for "diverse candidates whose lived experiences and perspectives reflect the communities we serve."
Brightshores is looking specifically for interested individuals who have expertise in research and education, or other relevant or transferable skillsets.
Applicants should also potentially come from diverse backgrounds whose experiences may be underrepresented in governance roles. Interested applicants must have a residence and/or conduct business within the catchment area of communities surrounding Brightshores hospitals in Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Owen Sound, Southampton, and Wiarton.
