Bruce Power among Canada's Top Employers

Bruce Power has again been named one of Canada’s Top Employers, securing the national distinction for a sixth year in a row.

The latest recognition underscores the company’s reputation for putting employees first while building a workplace where skills are developed, diversity is respected, and new ideas are welcomed.

The honour was determined through an independent survey led by Forbes in collaboration with Statista. Tens of thousands of workers across the country provided feedback, assessing their employers on factors such as professional development and career growth, pay and benefits, flexible work options, inclusivity, and organizational culture.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our culture and the commitment we make to our people,” said Karen Smith, Bruce Power’s Senior Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are dedicated to creating an environment where every employee feels supported and has meaningful opportunities to grow, contribute, and innovate. Our success as an organization is built on the talent and passion of our people.”

The company continues to prioritize its workforce through a combination of competitive wages, adaptable work arrangements, robust training and leadership programs, and initiatives aimed at strengthening a diverse and collaborative environment. These measures are intended to support employees throughout their careers, whether they are new to the workforce or moving into advanced roles.

Looking ahead, Bruce Power says it remains focused on delivering stable, high-quality jobs within Ontario’s clean energy industry. Major initiatives such as the Life-Extension Program, the Major Component Replacement Project, and the examination of potential future site expansions are expected to generate employment opportunities well into the future.
