2026 TSL gift certificates now available

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton has kicked off its popular gift certificate program for 2026, just in time for the holidays.

Executive Director Mark Perrin said it was launched in 2021 to help local businesses recover from the pandemic.

"It's one of our top programs," he said. "It's recognized throughout the industry as one of the leading programs across Canada. We've worked with other tourism agencies on how they can design similar programs."

Perrin said every dollar supports our local economy.

"To date, to have over $700,000 in gift card sales, that's money directly staying in Sarnia-Lambton and helping our jobs, our economy, our growth. It's fantastic, it really is," he said.

Perrin said the gift certificates are offered in different denominations.

"Basically it offers a $10, $25, and $50 gift card," said Perrin. "They can be redeemed at over 200 local businesses throughout Sarnia-Lambton."

The year-round program is well liked before Christmas.

"The holiday's are definitely the most popular time," Perrin said. "A lot of people get them for teachers, or family. We do have people from wide and far call and do it as a gift that can be delivered. So, we've had people call from overseas purchasing them for people."

The certificates can be purchased online, or in person at the tourism office at 1455 Venetian Boulevard in Point Edward.
