Perth County OPP are investigating a collision that claimed a life just north of Fullarton on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the intersection of Perth Road 163 and Perth Line 26 in West Perth around 4 p.m.
The driver of one of the involved vehicles, a 79-year-old man from Arva, suffered grave injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
One person in the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
Perth Road 163 and Perth Line 26 were closed during the investigation but reopened later Friday night.
That was the second fatal collision reported in Perth County on Friday. An 89-year-old Stratford woman died in a collision near Dublin earlier that morning.
