Wellington County residents can get a look behind the curtain at the surprising discoveries and untold stories that come from work preserving and exploring local history.
The Wellington County Museum and Archives has announced a new four-part fall Archives Speaker Series. The four afternoon talks promise to touch on stories uncovered through decades of historical research, the challenges of preserving family heirlooms and the clues captured in century-old photographs.
“Archives and museum collections can hold remarkable surprises, and this series is a chance to share some of those discoveries with the public," said Museum Archivist Karen Wagner.
The Archives Speaker Series schedule is as follows:

All of the presentations will be held in the museum's Reading Room. Admission is by donation and no registration is required.
