After numerous search warrants were executed at a number of locations, three people are now facing drug charges.
Huron County OPP say that in May of 2025, an investigation led to officers searching homes in the Municipality of Huron East and the Town of Goderich.
Members from the Grey-Bruce and Wellington Community Street Crime Units, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, and the Huron OPP detachment assisted with the investigation.
Then, on Thursday, September 4, officers conducted three separate searches, two in Goderich and one in Seaforth, where drugs and illegal property were seized, including suspected cocaine and methamphetamine.
In all, the value of the drugs was estimated at $13,805. Additional offence-related property including a cell phone, digital scales, packaging material, and imitation firearms, which totalled $1,650. Canadian currency seized totalled $2,110.
A 26-year-old and 32-year-old from Goderich and a 64-year-old from Huron East have all been arrested and are facing possession charges.
All of the accused have been released from custody with court dates scheduled throughout October to answer to the charges.
