Queen Street construction to affect Kincardine hospital for two weeks

Construction begins this week along Queen Street that will impact access to Kincardine's Hospital.

Crews will work in the area of Mount Forest Avenue, installing new sanitary sewers.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane from April 15 to 19 during construction hours with a flag person on scene to direct traffic.

The Municipality says emergency vehicles will have priority access during that time.

Beginning April 22 until April 26, Queen Street will be closed with no access all day long. Access to the Kincardine Hospital will be via temporary access lanes on the north and south sides of Mount Forest Avenue (see photo above).

The Municipality says families whose bus routes will be impacted by the work will be notified by their company about any schedule changes.
