Lambton OPP are looking for witnesses after an individual in Grand Bend was sent to hospital after trying to break up a fight.
Officers were called to the parking lot of a business on Ontario Street at around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, July 2.
When they arrived, they observed a large crowd and an individual lying on the ground with a visible head injury.
Lambton Emergency Medical Service (EMS) attended and the individual was taken to hospital. Cst. Jamie Bydeley told Sarnia News Today on Tuesday that the victim sustained non life-threatening injuries and has been released from hospital.
A video was shown to police afterwards and officers learned the individual was injured while attempting to break up a physical altercation between two other males.
Lambton OPP would like to speak with the person who showed them the video again and get their contact information.
