New online citizen portal to improve access to Georgian Bluffs services

Georgian Bluffs residents are being offered a new and improved way to access municipal services.

The township has launched a new online citizen portal called "My GB." It allows users to access and manage property tax data and online payment options, receive direct notifications about services, and highlight waste collection schedules and upcoming council meetings.

“My GB is a major step forward in improving accessibility and convenience for our residents,” the township's Deputy CAO and Director of Corporate Services Brittany Drury said in a statement. “This platform allows citizens to engage with municipal services in a way that fits their needs, providing a modern, and efficient user experience.”

Residents interested in signing up for My GB can set up an account by going to https://mygb.georgianbluffs.ca and clicking the "sign me up" button. They then can enter a preferred email address, after which they will be asked to complete the verification process. Once that is done, the dashboard can be customized and accounts can be linked to a property tax account by entering a property roll number, name, and last tax payment amount.

Property tax information is updated weekly, the township noted.

More information about how to manage dashboard widgets, reset passwords, and customize notification settings can be found at www.georgianbluffs.ca/MyGB.
