Another record-breaking year for home construction for Minto

The town of Minto is headed for another record-breaking year of new construction.

To the end of September this year, Minto issued 171 permits worth $30-million, which is about the same as in 2018.

But the ten-year-average for the same period is considerably lower, at 158 permits worth $18-million.

Minto’s Chief Building Official expects the final few months of the year to continue at the busy pace.
