Several events are planned as Hanover residents and alumni prepare to visit John Diefenbaker Senior School one final time in May.
The reunion at JDSS will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 4, where visitors can enjoy a tour of the school, a pep rally in the gym, and a meet and greet with teaching staff.
Hanover council declared May 4 as "JDSS Day" in the town, and residents should expect to see several "purple and white bows all over the town", according to former JDSS Principal and current Hanover Councillor Dave Hocking.
A chicken dinner will be served at the nearby P&H Centre starting at 4 p.m.
A dance will take place from 9pm-1am, featuring several musicians who attended JDSS.
