The Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce will move to a new Owen Sound office at the end of the month.
The CMHA's offices located at 1024 and 1026 Second Avenue East will relocate on March 2 to a new space at the Owen Sound Family Health Centre.
The office will be located in Suite 3011, 1415 First Avenue West.
CMHA says the new space features large windows with abundant natural light, an open layout, and a spacious area for group services.
"We have worked with our staff and community to determine what kind of space truly supports the work we do, and this one feels right,” said Stephen Musehl, CEO of CMHA Grey Bruce. “It is bright, open, safe and welcoming. I believe this space will support our staff and help create positive experiences for the people we serve."
Peer Support, Family Support, and Social Recreation Union Place and Group Services will take place in the new location. However, as part of the move, some programs previously operating at Second Avenue East will continue in alternate locations.
That includes Men’s Programs, Awareness and Education and Housing and Rent Collection, which will operate at 1101 Second Avenue East (Nortowne Plaza). The My Dad’s Group will also begin meeting at Fresh Roots Café after March 2.
Though locations are changing, contact information remains the same. Clients and community members can continue to call 519 371 3642 or visit greybruce.cmha.ca.
