The March 12 event is being presented by Saugeen Connects and sponsored by the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation.

Spokesperson April Marshall said the gathering will bring women together from across the region under this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.”

"We're encouraging all women entrepreneurs and professionals to come out and enjoy the evening," She added. "We're going to have Women's Marketplace of vendor booths of local women-owned businesses. There is going to be great connection and networking, and a catered dinner by Ani's Kitchen."

Guests will enjoy a catered dinner featuring a selection of international dishes. The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Vendor booths are available for $25, and interested participants can reserve a space by contacting bobbi@sbdc.ca.

Marshall added the keynote speaker will be a highlight of the evening.

"We'll have a powerful keynote speaker. Jenn Walker of Dive Heart First is going to challenge traditional ideas about effort, work, and success," explained Marshall. "She's going to help us explore how to give generously without burnout, and how to lead grow and build you life or business on your own terms."

Admission includes the keynote address, dinner, and full access to the marketplace booths. Organizers are encouraging those interested to secure their tickets before March 5th to ensure they don’t miss what is expected to be an inspiring and empowering celebration of International Women’s Day.
