Concerns shards of glass could be inside the bottles has led to a recall of certain Crown Royal Reserve brand Canadian Whisky.
According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the recall affects the brand labelled as "aged 12 years", which was sold in 750 millilitre bottles with UPC 0 82000 80992 0. The bottles were distributed in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The recall was initiated by distribution giant Diageo Canada Inc. due to the possible presence of glass.
To date, there have been no reported injuries related to the product.
Anyone who has the recalled whisky is urged not to use, sell, or serve it, but to return it to the store where it was purchased.
