Benmiller Park to get new equipment

The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh says it will revitalize Benmiller Park this fall.

Planned work will include the installation of a brand-new playground, an accessible path, and a safety barrier fence.

The Township says the project has been made possible through the support of the Benmiller Community Hall Committee, which raised over $64,000 to turn the vision into reality. Additional funding support has been provided through the Huron County SLED Grant and the AccessSled Grant.

The contract was awarded to Blue Imp this summer and will feature modern, accessible equipment designed to encourage active play and outdoor fun for children of all ages and abilities.

The Township says plans are subject to change as the project develops and encourages residents to follow updates on the project through this webpage and social media channels.
