The Town of Saugeen Shores is thanking a local construction company for a $100,000 donation to its new Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says Barry’s Construction has been helping build the community for decades, and their latest contribution shows a continued commitment to helping families thrive in the region.
"We’re incredibly grateful for the support of Barry’s Construction," said Charbonneau. "For decades, Barry’s Construction has helped, quite literally, build our community and this donation is another example of their dedication to helping families thrive in Saugeen Shores. The new Aquatic and Wellness Centre will benefit residents of all ages, and we’re proud to have Barry’s Construction as part of its legacy."
Barry’s Construction, founded in 1977, is known for building thousands of homes across Grey-Bruce.
The new centre will feature an eight-lane competition pool, a leisure pool, fitness centre, walking track, gymnasium and multi-purpose rooms. Construction is underway as part of the town’s 2025 Business Plan.
