The Hanover Swim Club sent 4 of its members to the recent Ontario Swimming Championships.

This year's championships were held July 9–12 at the world-class Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

The youngest member of the Hanover foursome that went, 11-year-old Finn Oxby, brought back two silver medals in breaststroke.

Twelve-year-old Joseph Reinhart also swam in the 12 and under age group, competing in a handful of events. He narrowly missed out on a podium, finishing 4th in the 100m breaststroke.

In the 13–14 age group, 14-year-old Rhyker Falkiner swam three events and raced in both preliminaries and finals. He managed to earn as high as a 6th place finish in the 100 backstroke.

Also, thirteen-year-old Gabriella Reinhart competed in numerous events, finishing as high as 11th in the 100m breaststroke.

The Hanover Swim Club shares in a media release that they are extremely proud of the 3 athletes who competed against Ontario's best, and are looking forward to the start of the 2025-26 season in September.
