Huron County is highlighting the vital efforts of volunteers to mark National Volunteer Week, which runs until April 26, 2025.
The County is thanking everyone who donates their time to make a positive impact on their communities
Volunteers in Huron County enrich the lives of residents in a variety of ways, from welcoming newcomers and supporting local food and housing programs to organizing events and celebrating arts and culture.
Huron County Warden Jamie Heffer said their time, energy and commitment help create strong, connected and vibrant communities.
“Volunteers are the heart of our communities,” said Heffer. “On behalf of County Council and staff, thank you to everyone who gives their time to support others and strengthen Huron County.”
