A South Huron resident has been charged following a retail theft on January 12, 2025.
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police were contacted by staff at a store north of Grand Bend on January 15 with details of the theft, including a suspect and vehicle description.
The 45-year-old suspect was identified and arrested on January 16. They face a charge of Theft Under $5,000 and will appear in court on February 10, 2025.
The only brand impacted is Sweet Cream.
Between 15 and 30 cm of snow is expected to fall between Sunday night and Wednesday morning.
The impacted brands are Compliments, Foremost, Golden Valley Eggs, IGA, No Name, and Western Family.
The budget comes with a 5.34 per cent municipal tax levy increase for residents.
