OPP seeks tips in South Huron sexual assault

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Huron County are looking for tips or witnesses after a sexual assault was reported on Friday.

Few details have been released, but police released a report of a sexual assault that took place on the McNaughton-Morrison Trail near the town of Exeter.

The assault took place between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who may have been in the area during that timeframe and may have seen anything unusual, or with security camera or video footage to share, should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
