Owen Sound police say they have found an SUV involved in a hit and run collision on Friday night.
Around 11:40 p.m. emergency services responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 6th Street East.
According to police, a white SUV travelling southbound attempted to make a left turn onto 6th Street directly in the path of a northbound vehicle.
The collision resulted in minor injuries to the 75-year-old woman and significant damage to the front end of her vehicle.
The driver of the white SUV immediately fled the area.
Police announced on Monday morning that they have located the SUV and anticipate that charges will be laid against the driver.
