The Gateway Centre for Excellence in Rural Health held another of its Brave-F screening programs for local firefighters.
The program is dedicated to "enhancing the well-being of volunteer firefighters across Huron County," according to a media release from the Gateway Centre. The program provides free confidential medical screenings and cardiovascular health education tailored to the unique needs of rural first responders.
The latest session was held November 19 in Ethel. Local volunteer firefighters participated in an educational session to learn about safeguarding their overall health.
A Brave-F session also took place in Seaforth earlier this summer.
