The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is beginning the 2024-2025 term on a high note, with the re-election of Lori Di Castri as Chair and Linda Strader as Vice-Chair.
This marks the second consecutive year in these leadership roles for both trustees, providing continuity and stability for the board.
Lori Di Castri is recognized for her deep commitment to Catholic education. As Chair, she brings extensive experience and a strong focus on fostering students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth.
“I am honoured to serve as Chair of the Board and to continue to work alongside our dedicated trustees, staff, and families in supporting Catholic education across Bruce and Grey counties,” said Di Castri. “Our focus will remain on fostering an inclusive and faith-filled learning environment that equips every student to achieve their fullest potential.”
Di Castri represents Huron-Kinloss, Brockton Ward 31, and Kincardine.
Vice-Chair Linda Strader is also returning to her position, helping to reinforce the board’s mission of delivering quality Catholic education while strengthening ties with families and communities across the region.
Officials say the ongoing leadership of Di Castri and Strader will be key to advancing the board’s goals and core values.
“It is a privilege to continue to serve as Vice-Chair and contribute to the important work of our board,” said Strader. “Together, we will continue to prioritize the needs of our students and staff, ensuring that our schools are places where faith and learning thrive.”
Strader serves Brockton Wards 34 and 36.
