Huron County is inviting everyone out to come and see the new Brussels Fire Hall and Paramedic Base.
On Monday, December 2, residents can come out from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and check out the recently renovated fire hall in Brussels and the brand new paramedic base.
There will be tours of the new facilities, education about local fire and paramedic services. Refreshments will be served.
A media release from the county shares that staff are looking forward to welcoming everyone and showing the public how the new facilities will "bring efficient and quality emergency services to the community."
“The Brussels Station of the Huron East Fire Department is excited to welcome the public to see the new building renovations,” said Jay Arns, Fire Chief for the Municipality of Huron East. “It’s important to us that our local community has opportunities to learn more about their local emergency services.”
“Huron County Paramedic Services appreciates being able to collaborate with the Municipality of Huron East for the new Paramedic Base in Brussels,” added Jeff Horseman, Director of Emergency Services for the County of Huron. “By working together, we’re able to bring efficient and quality emergency services to the community when they need it most.”
