Former Reeve of Chesley passes away

A former Reeve of the Town of Chesley has passed away.

A statement from the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie shares that former Town of Chesley Reeve Danard Bell has passed away in his 88th year.

Bell served several terms as a Councillor for the former Town of Chesley and held the position of Reeve of the Town of Chesley in 1998.

The municipal flag will be lowered to half-staff at the municipal office until November 10 in his honour.
