Grey Bruce Hospice still requiring masking at Chapman House

Grey Bruce Hospice Inc. is still requiring mandatory masking within their Chapman House facility.

A release from the GBH group states that they still expect all staff, volunteers, caregivers, and visitors within common areas inside Chapman House to wear a mask. However the release does note that Chapman House residents can have their own preferences regarding masking for visitors within the confines of their private rooms.

Despite that, masking will still be mandatory for volunteers and staff when they are in patient rooms. Grey Bruce Hospice Inc. says they must continue to do their part to protect their vulnerable residents, "while also respecting our staffing challenges and maintaining our staffing ratios to ensure our eight resident beds remain available," the release added.

Passive screening requirements for staff, volunteers, visitors, and caregivers continue. More information on Grey Bruce Hospice and Chapman House can be found at http://www.GreyBruceHospice.com.
