Changes coming to Dog Owners' Liability Act

It appears changes are coming for breed-based seizures of dogs in Ontario.

The Provincial government is apparently poised to roll back regulations concerning the province's ban on pit bulls, which have been banned in the province since 2005. CKNX has heard from listeners regarding dogs being seized because they looked like banned breeds, if you would like to share your story with us, you can contact the CKNX newsroom at news.wingham@blackburnmedia.ca.

Premier Doug Ford has reportedly weighed in personally during several cases of dogs being seized in the province, including some cases in Midwestern Ontario.
