Spitfires reveal their 2024-25 regular season schedule

The Windsor Spitfires know now where they will be and who they will play this season.

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) released its 680-game regular season slate Monday, including the 68 for the Spitfires.

Windsor will open the regular season on the road against the Memorial Cup champion Saginaw Spirit, on Wednesday, September 25.

They will kick off their 34-game home schedule on Saturday, September 28, against the Kitchener Rangers.

Three stat holiday matinees will be played at the WFCU Centre, each with a 2:05 p.m. puck drop. They are Thanksgiving Monday, October 14, against Oshawa, New Year's Eve against Flint, and Family Day, Monday, February 17, 2025, against Owen Sound.

Windsor's first game against their rivals, the London Knights, will be on Friday, December 13, at Budweiser Gardens in London. The first home game between these rivals will be on the next evening at the WFCU Centre.

November will be Windsor's busiest month, with 14 games scheduled, eight on the road. Those road games include the Spits' annual northern Ontario road trip.

The Spits are looking to bounce back after a pitiful 2023-2024 season when their 44-point total was the worst in the OHL's Western Conference, 60 points behind the champion Knights, and 21 points out of the last playoff slot.

Complete information about the Spitfires' schedule, as well as season tickets, can be found on the team's official website.
