Two Windsor residents are facing a number of charges after a traffic stop by Windsor police.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Mercer Avenue and Tuscarora Street Friday evening. That’s when they discovered the license plate attached to the vehicle had been reported stolen.
Both the driver and the passenger were arrested as a result.
Police then seized some illicit drugs and a prohibited weapon along with another stolen license plate and some Canadian money.
Patrick Bolton, 36, is facing charges of possession of stolen property, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine and failing to comply with a release order.
Brandi Bishop, 36, is facing charges of possession of stolen property, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of probation.
The charges have not been proven in court.
