The Huron County Library will hold a grand opening this weekend of a new hub for creativity, innovation, and connection.
The Makerspace at the Goderich Branch is part of the Library’s expanded line-up of technology-based tools, programs, and services available at branches across the County. It offers access to a collection of equipment and tools community members can use to create, play, learn, and connect
"The new Makerspace is a space where curiosity and creativity come together," said Beth Rumble, County Library and Director of Cultural Services. "We are proud to offer opportunities that inspire lifelong learning and bring people together through shared exploration and innovation."
The grand opening will be held June 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees can tryout a 3D Printer, VR Headset and Nintendo, Cricut Machine, Button Maker, and Nerf Guns. Light refreshments will also be available. All ages are welcome but some items may have age restrictions.
