The Ministry of Labour has launched an investigation after a person working on a roof top air conditioner was found dead.
Ministry spokesperson William Lin says the body of the worker was found by employees at New-Tec tool on Brendan Lane in Oldcastle this morning. "When workers of New-Tec Tool left the workplace yesterday evening, the Pannunzio Mechanical worker's truck was still on site. When the New-Tec Tool workers reported for work this morning, the truck was still on site."
Lin says an investigator with the ministry will try to determine if the worker was killed by something that happened while he was trying to fix the air conditioning unit.
He wouldn't release any information about the victim.
