A third individual involved in the collision sustained minor injuries.
Police reported the initial collision over social media at 3 p.m., noting that Aberarder Line and Lakeshore would be closed for several hours as a result.
Roads were reopened around 8:30 p.m., at which point OPP shared that two people had been pronounced dead.
