The Brooke-Alvinston and Watford Fall Fair will feature something new this weekend for wrestling fans.
Gates to the "Ye Olde Country Fair" will open Friday evening at 4:30 p.m.
Brooke-Alvinston Agricultural Society President Burt McKinlay said opening day will include traditional ceremonies, a pie auction in support of the Children's Hospital in London, and a vintage tractor pull.
Saturday's festivities will include various animal shows and a new Classic Championship Wrestling show, featuring WWE's Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart. Masked wrestlers are expected to step into the ring at 3 p.m.
McKinlay said with good weather, they're hoping to see around 2,000 people throughout the weekend.
"We had wonderful weather last year and yes, we had big crowds as people came out after COVID and we're hoping all those people will come back again this year," he said.
The last day of the fair will include a demolition derby at 1 p.m. Vendors and the midway will be available throughout the weekend.
Adult admission to the fair on Friday and Saturday is $10 while children under 16 are free. It will be free to attend the fairgrounds on Sunday with the exception of the demolition derby.
Adult admission to the derby is $20, those between the ages of 12 and 17 are $10, and children under 12 are free.
