One person was taken to hospital after a tractor-trailer loaded with salt crashed northwest of Wingham.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Donnybrook Line between Highway 86 and Zion Road just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The truck went off the road and crashed into a tree, spilling its load of salt into the ditch.
The driver suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries, OPP said.
The section of Donnybrook was closed for nearly the whole day while investigators were on scene and debris was cleared. The road was reopened around 8:20 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
