The Durham Emergency Department is closed Thursday, April 25 due to a lack of staff. It will re-open Friday, April 26 at 7 a.m.
Ambulances will take patients to the closest open emergency department.
Anyone needing immediate medical help is asked to call 911. For non-urgent needs, you can call Health Connect Ontario at 811.
