Another local business has stepped up with a donation to the Wingham and District Hospital's Caring Together campaign.
The campaign aims to bring a brand new CT scanner to Wingham. Hodgins Building Centre has donated $50,000 towards the foundation's goal of $2.5 million.
The Caring Together campaign is aiming to raise $2.5 million for a CT Scanner to strengthen emergency care and help make the hospital more attractive to potential new healthcare professionals. You can learn more about the importance of the CT Scanner and make a contribution at www.wdhfoundation.ca.
At the time of writing, the foundation has raised $1.9 million of the $2.5 million dollar goal.
“Donating to the hospital and other important local organizations is our way of giving back to the community that has supported our family business for many years," said third generation owners of Hodgins Building Centre, Brock and Jordan Hodgins.
“It’s gratifying to see the next generation of businesses owners step up and support the community. The Hodgins donation to the hospital sets a great example. We can’t thank them enough," added Campaign Chair Mark Foxton.
