27th annual Bayfield Lions Home and Lifestyle Show returns

The 27th annual Bayfield Lions Home and Lifestyle Show is making its way back to the Bayfield Community Centre on April 20 and 21.

The day will feature many vendors and businesses from within the community, raising money for the Lions Club to continue its work in the Bayfield area.

"It features a diverse range of exhibitors like RVs, indoor and outdoor furniture, sheds, blinds, appliances, financial services, contractors, pest control, and more," said Ian Matthew, president of the Bayfield Lions.

The event is also family-friendly, featuring face painting, food vendors, and a raffle to participate in.

Matthew said admission is free, however, donations to the food bank are greatly appreciated.

"People have been coming for many, many years," said Matthew. "Many people are repeat attendees and we always have new things to offer, new products, new services."

Every year, the weekend garners 2,000 to 3,000 people.

"Please come out," he said. "It's a community event, funds raised go back into the community. We as the Lions Club have pumped in a little over half a million dollars into the local community over the last 10 years. These types of events allow us to raise that money to come back into the community."

The weekend gets underway on Saturday at the Bayfield Community Centre. If you'd like to attend, it runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and returns Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
