CMHA Grey Bruce announces new CEO

Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce has announced a new CEO.

Stephen Musehl, a Chesley resident, will be assuming the role as of April 15. The CMHA Grey Bruce Board of Directors and the CEO Recruitment Committee selected Musehl after a long search process.

Musehl has served as Executive Director at Home and Community Support Services Grey Bruce and at the local Alzheimer Society.

His qualifications include an Honours BA in Health Psychology from York University, a Master's Certificate in Healthcare Management from the Schulich School of Business, and certification from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

The CMHA Grey Bruce Board and the CEO Recruitment Committee also wish to thank Claudia den Boer for her leadership as Interim CEO, during which she significantly contributed to the agency's development.

"I am truly honoured to join CMHA Grey Bruce as CEO. I look forward to working alongside the exceptional team already in place to cultivate hope, resilience, and community for those who live with and are impacted by mental illness and/or addiction. CMHA Grey Bruce is a leader in our communities, and I hope to continue - and grow - the exceptional legacy of this organization," Musehl stated.
