The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is thanking a number of local businesses for helping make the annual Wiarton Willie Festival a success this year.
A total of 12 local businesses, including platinum sponsor Bruce Power, were thanked in a release from council, staff and festival organizers.
The release stated that "The Wiarton Willie Festival is a testament to the power of community collaboration and the positive impact that local businesses can have on local events. The organizers and attendees alike appreciate the dedication and community spirit displayed by these sponsors, without whom the festival wouldn't be the vibrant and engaging experience that it is."
South Bruce Peninsula Council and staff extended their heartfelt gratitude to G.M. Diemert Architect Inc., GM Blueplan , GSS Engineering Consultants Ltd ., Ontario Clean Water Agency , Harrington Plumbing , RJ Burnside , Allen Hastings , Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb , Shared Tower , and TD Bank for their "generous contributions and unwavering support."
