The Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest will experience a temporary closure of the emergency department.
The Wellington Health Care Alliance announced that due to staffing shortages, the emergency department in Mount Forest will close on Saturday, September 9 at 5 a.m. and will reopen on Sunday, September 10 at 7 a.m.
Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency. Emergency Medical Services will remain available to the community and will be re-routed to surrounding hospitals to ensure residents continue to have access to the emergency services they need.
