Fanshawe College is holding spring open houses at all of its campuses this Saturday, including at the regional sites in Clinton and Kincardine.
“Locally we are opening the doors here in Clinton at the Reach Centre. And then we are also opening the doors in Kincardine at 385 Queen Street. So that's where we have shop space and classroom space for some of the programs that are run out of Kincardine,” said Student Engagement Representative Kim Reid.
Reid says both open houses from run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Reid says the open houses give perspective students an opportunity to meet with staff and get a look at the facilities. Reid also says the courses at the regional sites are tailored to some degree to the needs of that community.
“Early Childhood Education diploma program, our Personal Support Worker, which is a certificate program, a Carpenter and Renovation Techniques program as well as our Business Fundamentals program. So those four full-time programs are specifically what we would like to speak about,” she explained.
