F.E. Madill advances to semi-finals at Girl's A/AA OFSAA Hockey Championship

F.E. Madill's Girl's Hockey team is through to the semi-finals at OFSAA.

The Mustangs dominated on Day 2 of the provincial championship tournament in Stratford, beating St. Charles College of Sudbury 6-0 to finish in 1st place in Pool D and moving on to the quarter-finals against Mississauga's Lorne Park Secondary School.

In the afternoon tilt, Madill put in another excellent performance, beating Lorne Park 5-1 to advance to the semi-finals against Waterloo's St. David Catholic Secondary School, the top-ranked team in Ontario coming into this tournament.

F.E. Madill will play at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 23 on Rink B at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (St. Catharines) and St. Mark High School (Manotick) will face off in the other semi-final on Rink A.
