Huron County Playhouse announces 2023 season

Drayton Entertainment has announced the 2023 season for the Huron Country Playhouse, including shows on both the main stage and the South Huron Stage.

Artistic Director Alex Mustakas says theatre-goers are thrilled to see live theatre again, but he says the performers are even more excited.

“The actors and musicians and choreographers and dancers and singers because of the scope of work that we're doing next year. I think that I've designed a season that really will appeal to ages five to ninety-five. It's an eclectic mix of shows and it's back to pre-pandemic levels of programming,” said Mustakas.

Mustakas says there isn't a specific theme to next year's season.

“It's really just a mix of Broadway blockbusters and some side-splitting comedy and also some dramas mixed in as well. So it's what I would call a recovery season that'll appeal to many individuals,” he added.

Mustakas says they like to announce the new season as soon as possible to give their members and subscribers a chance to plan their season and get the tickets they want. He says tickets will be on sale to members on the first of December and to subscribers two weeks after that. A complete list of the plays for 2023 can be found on the Huron Country Playhouse website.
