A special Grey County Council meeting will take place Thursday to discuss strong mayor powers.
According to a media release, Grey County Council will hold a special joint All Councils meeting involving all of its lower-tier municipalities.
The closed session will be held electronically on April 17 at 9 a.m. to educate members on strong mayor powers.
The province is giving the powers to an additional 169 municipalities effective May 1. The powers are already being enacted in 47 municipalities, along with Ottawa and Toronto.
