The Inspiring Our Future Campaign has received yet another donation from a local business.
The campaign is gathering funds to make significant upgrades to the Brussels Morris Grey Community Centre in Brussels, and McDonagh Insurance Brokers ($5,000) and employee Dan Fritz ($20,000) have pooled their resources to make a combined $25,000 donation to the effort. The release states that "McDonagh Insurance is a full-line insurance brokerage originally founded in 1931. Fritz covers the Brussels/Wingham area for them."
Dan Fritz is also the Inspiring Our Future Public Awareness and Community Engagement Chair.
He accepted the donation saying “it’s a pretty natural choice for me to support this project, by the time the build and fundraising campaign wrap up I will have over 5 years working on this project. There’s a bit of history here too with two of my grandparents being on the committee that oversaw the original arena build back in ’77. I am just lucky to have employers that see the value in supporting this as well. It’s a great investment in our community’s future recreation needs.”
Breanne (McDonagh) Chapman and Conor McDonagh presented the donation on behalf on McDonagh Insurance Brokers adding “We are proud to have an employee so dedicated to his community and are pleased to be able to support Dan with this worthwhile cause that will benefit the Brussels community which he actively serves for years to come.”
