Report of a crash leads to search near Seaforth

Members of the OPP's Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit were involved in a search Monday near Seaforth.

Police say they were trying to locate a driver that failed to remain at the scene of a crash north of Seaforth.

Just after 2 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a pickup truck that crashed on North Line between Hydro Line and Bridge Road.

Investigators determined the involved vehicle had been reported stolen.

The suspect is described as a male, about 6-feet, around 150 pounds, with short black hair, and was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and carrying a black hooded sweatshirt.
