Local OPP members recognized at recent awards ceremony

Some local South Bruce OPP officers were recently recognized for outstanding efforts during an awards ceremony.

Four South Bruce OPP officers were given awards. They include Provincial Constables Ian Gouthro, Mark Brandt and Ken Roppel, who were all recognized for 20 years of exemplary service. Also, Provincial Constable Derrick Frook was recognized for 25 years of exemplary service and was also awarded a Regional Commanders letter for Exemplary Performance of Duty.

The awards were presented at a small ceremony by Inspector Krista Miller, the Detachment Commander for the South Bruce OPP.

"It was my pleasure to take part in the awards ceremony recognizing these members for their exemplary service.  I'm proud of the hard work that these dedicated and professional members have performed each and every day, for the past 20 and 25 years, for the residents of the Province of Ontario and South Bruce OPP," says Inspector Miller.
