Wellington County OPP have laid numerous charges against three people following a seizure of drugs and weapons.
On March 14th at 11:15 p.m., officers spotted a suspicious looking vehicle parked behind a business on Main Street South in Mount Forest. As police approached, one suspect fled on foot from the vehicle, but was found quickly by another officer. Police located a pair of brass knuckles and suspected methamphetamine on the ground. The driver and other passenger in the vehicle were searched and police allegedly seized cocaine, methamphetamine, a stun gun, drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency. As a result, two Arthur residents, a 36 and 39-year-old, as well as a 45-year-old from Orillia are facing a number of charges.
One of the accused has a court date in Guelph scheduled for March 31st, while the other two accused both have a court date in Guelph scheduled for April 9th. The charges have yet to be proven in a court of law.

Gordon Kostal 39-years-old of Arthur, has been charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of a Prohibited Device for a Dangerous Purpose, and Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order. The Accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice - Guelph on March 31, 2021.
Courtney Elizabeth Snyder, 36-years-old of Arthur, has been charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine, Possession of a Prohibited Device for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition. The Accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice - Guelph on April 9, 2021.
Dean Primus Mitchelmore, 45-years-old of Orillia, has been charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine, and Resist Peace Officer. The Accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice - Guelph on April 9, 2021.
